Photos: Beach Cleanup a Hit

Oyster Bay's annual beach cleanup Saturday at Theodore Roosevelt Memorial Park drew some high-profile names, from Gov. Andrew Cuomo to singer and piano man Billy Joel.
 
But it was a community event first and the goal was to collect 20 tons of debris from the beach and surrounding Oyster Bay Harbor habitat. That meant children climbing the jetty, volunteers combing the beach, baymen working the shorelines and divers scouring the bay's bottom.
