Oyster Bay-East Norwich Schools and St. Dominic High School announced they would be closed Thursday as a result of the nor'easter.

The storm knocked out power and closed state parks before the worst of it had even hit Long Island. It dumped several inches of snow on the ground, which iced over in many areas and closed down highways Wednesday night.
