TOBAY Celebrates at Holiday 5K, Concert

Officials and residents gather for Ho! Ho! Ho! Holiday Run and annual concert.

Town of Oyster Bay leaders rang in the holiday season with their most anticipated concerts and charity runs.

Several town board members joined Nassau legislators at the Tilles Center for the 29th Annual Holiday Concert. Sponsored by Roslyn Savings Bank, the concert entertained the packed house with classic holiday performances under the direction of Dean Karahalis.

At the annual Ho! Ho! Ho! Holiday 5K Run in Bethpage, town leaders and Nassau legislators joined in congratulating winners Kathy Dormer of Williston Park, Judith Brenner of Plainview, Michael Fernandez of Farmingdale, and Lance Homan of Medford. The run was sponsored by the Greater Long Island Running Club and Carter, DeLuca, Farrell & Schmidt.

This was the first year I attended the holiday show. So glad I did...my 3 year old daughter and I just loved it. Excellent job to all involved. Thank you so much for making our holiday a little more special.
