Patch broke news Tuesday that County Executive Ed Mangano said West Shore Road's repair is "on pace."
"The blocks which will comprise the new seawall have begun to arrive. Crews are working hard to get the road open as soon as possible," he said.
Both Mangano and the Village of Mill Neck have been updating the community and believe part of the road will open in a little as nine days.
