How should your Oyster Bay politicians speak out for you?

When Congress departed without okaying a Hurricane Sandy relief bill for our area, politicians on all levels of government and from both sides of the aisle were stunned and critical of their comerades, telling them to get it together.

"We cannot believe that this cruel knife in the back was delivered to our region," said Rep. Peter King, R-Seaford, who was especially outspoken and critical of his disappointment in his party. Saying politics should never have "seeped over into a governmental decision," King blasted House Speaker John Boehner and his party after the relief package bill was pulled.
