Mangano: West Shore Road Repair on Track

Part of road may reopen in 10 days, says County Executive.

Despite a post-Christmas storm that caused additional damage to the project, County Executive Ed Mangano says reconstruction of West Shore Road is on track.

"West Shore Rd. reconstruction remains on pace," wrote Mangano to his Facebook followers Tuesday. "The blocks which will comprise the new seawall have begun to arrive. Crews are working hard to get the road open as soon as possible."

Mangano and the Village of Mill Neck have been updating residents on the project.
