Gov. Cuomo to Take Part in TR Beach Cleanup
Theodore Roosevelt Memorial Park beach is local focus for 28th annual International Coastal Cleanup.
Gov. Andrew Cuomo will take part Saturday in the 28th annual International Coastal Cleanup, which will target the beach at Theodore Roosevelt Memorial Park in Oyster Bay.
The event, sponsored by the Ocean Conservancy and American Littoral Society, runs from 8 a.m.-noon.
The Town of Oyster Bay, Oyster Bay Sail & Power Squadron, North Oyster Bay Baymen's Association and Friends of the Bay are jointly coordinating the effort locally.
