Willie Minicozzi, Former Bayville Fire Chief, Dies at 83
Minicozzi lived in Bayville, served in Bayville Fire Company.
William "Willie" E. Minicozzi, of Levittown, died Tuesday. He was 83 years old.
Minicozzi, formerly of Bayville, was Chief of the Bayville Fire Company for several years.
"Our thoughts and prayers go out to Willie's family and he will be missed by all that knew him. R.I.P Chief," Bayville Fire Company #1 posted on their Facebook page.

Minicozzi leaves behind his wife, Joan, children Susan, Jim, Andy, Billy, and the late Joe, and sister Dolores. He was a proud grandfather of six, great-grandfather of one, and uncle to many nieces and nephews.
A wake will be held at the Funeral Home of Dodge-Thomas Glen Cove on Thursday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A firematic service will be held Thursday at 8 p.m. Mass will be held at the Church of St. Gertrude in Bayville on Friday at 11 a.m. followed by a burial at the Locust Valley Cemetery.
