Fire in Locust Lane Home

Syosset, East Norwich, Glenwood Landing enlisted to help extinguish late-night fire.

Oyster Bay Fire Department and three other crews battled a late night fire Sunday in Oyster Bay, according to police.

Nassau County detectives confirmed that a fire began at about 11:15 p.m. Monday night at 49 Locust Lane.

Police said the fire likely began in the basement of the two-story home.

According to Long Island Incidents' Facebook page, East Norwich, Syosset, and Glenwood Landing fire departments also responded to the scene.

No injuries have been reported.
