East Norwich Man Arrested for Harassing Cops
Suspect, 46, accused of making harassing phone calls to Old Brookville Police Department.
A 46-year-old East Norwich man was arrested early Wednesday for making harassing phone calls to the emergency line of the Old Brookville Police Department earlier this month, according to Nassau County Police.
Matthew B. Burkhardt, of Pine Hollow Road, was arrested at his home at 1:30 a.m. for phone calls made between Sept. 28 and Oct. 6., police said in a press release.
Burkhardt was charged with second-degree obstructing governmental administration. He was arraigned at Nassau County First District Court.
