Video: Epic Flooding in Oyster Bay

Hurricane Sandy, full moon tide bring storm surges not seen in decades.

Hurricane Sandy, dubbed the 'Frankenstorm,' slammed Oyster Bay and the entire northeast coast Monday. A deadly combination of high winds, driving rain, and a full moon tide brought floodig to epic proportions in coastal communities, but the curious still ventured outdoors to get it all on film.

Downed trees brought and winds brought massive power outages with almost all of Long Island without power Tuesday. LIPA crews stoppe dworking Monday afternoon during high winds but are back out in force repairing damaged lines, though LIPA warns that some communities could be out of power for up to 10 days.
