Tell Us: Has Halloween Been Moved to Saturday?

Some scrapping trick-or-treating Wednesday altogether. Are you?

The streets are in bad shape, homeowners are preoccupied by power outages and storm damage, and many businesses are closed--it doesn't seem like there's any room for Halloween right now, so some propose we simply move it to Saturday.

The Town reportedly called residents advising them not to take children trick or treating Wednesday night and other municipalities are following suit, according to an Oyster Bay Patch Facebook user.

Saturday's forecast is 55, sunny, and breezy. The roads might be slightly better and power restored to homes and businesses. Halloween costumes and candy would fit right in!
