Introduction

Dave is a lifelong resident of Nassau County and longtime resident of Bayville. He is currently the Chief of Staff to the Democratic Caucus at the Nassau County Legislature, and knows firsthand the abuses and mismanagement under Ed Mangano and the Republican Majority. He believes that he can help put the county on a path to sound financial footing.

Dave is a well-respected attorney, who began his career 25 years ago in public service, before starting his own private law firm. In 2005, he re-entered public service as Chief Legal Counsel in the Nassau Legislature. He also has served as a Civil Service Commissioner and as Nassau County Public Administrator.
Additionally, Dave has been an active local community member serving as an elected Trustee of the Village of Bayville from 1994-2002.

Outside of his professional life, Dave has been actively involved in many local volunteer organizations including CYO Basketball, Oak Neck Lacrosse, American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life, Friendly Sons of St. Patrick and the Red Cross of Nassau County Swim Across. Additionally, the past three years he and his daughter have traveled abroad to Ecuador and the Dominican Republic as part of the Moreano World Medical Mission, which provides life-changing surgeries to needy children. He currently resides in Bayville with his wife Helene and their two daughters.
