Looking for a fun event for the kids during spring break?

Check out the Town of Oyster Bay’s Children’s Magical Music & More performance on Wednesday at 2 p.m. That’s when storyteller Queen Nur will be at the Bethpage Public Library at 47 Powell Avenue in Bethpage.

The event, says Town Councilman Anthony Macagnone, is free and “offers an entertaining and interactive performance featuring original songs and dances.”

The town is also offering an additional April event, featuring Ernie Sites, a singing-songwriting Idaho cowboy who entertains families with traditional music of the American West.  The event is complete with lasso trick demonstrations, yodeling, and cowboy poetry. It takes place on Sunday, April 27, at 1 p.m. at the Massapequa Public Library, located on 40 Harbor Lane in Massapequa.

The Children’s Magical Music & More series is sponsored by the Cultural and Performing Arts (CAPA) Division of the Town of Oyster Bay’s Department of Community & Youth Services. For further information call 797-7900.
