Police ID Woman Struck on 25A
Suffolk County Police have identified the victim as Jean Carr, of Syosset. Carr was crossing Main Street in Cold Spring Harbor at 6:01 p.m. when she was struck by a 2002 Honda Accord, police said. The driver, Rita Wallace, had a suspended license, reported cops.

Bayville Man Pleads Guilty to Sex Abuse Charges
John Benstock, 49, of Bayville, reportedly pleaded guilty to four counts of second degree sexual abuse and 10 counts of endangering the welfare of a child. His case was heard by acting State Supreme Court Justice William Donnino.
